The pain in my hip was so intense that it impaired my normal way of life. I used to walk 2 miles per day and now it was very difficult to do the simplest tasks like: walk the dog, shipping, and cleaning my house. Simply being on my feet for any period was excruciating.

I started my chiropractic care with Dr. Bolick in February 2006 and now I’m pain free after just a few months of treatment. I am very impressed with the care I have received. At one point I was ready to give it all up, but Dr. Bolick reassured me that he could help me and everything would be fine, he was right! I’m ashamed of myself for doubting he could help me. I am now back to work and my energy level is increasing daily. I also handled an unknown problem in my neck and have better hearing, no funny noise in my ears when I lay down, my voice is clearer (can even sing easier). As a result of my fall down a flight of stairs on November 2nd I suffered a head injury, back and chest contusions and a sprained wrist. My head injury and the wrist sprain were taken care of immediately at the hospital emergency room, but my back pain only grew worse during the next few days. My search for an outstanding chiropractic physician led me to your clinic, and after my evaluation visit, I was convinced I had made the best choice. The program of treatment, which you outlined for me and the expertise with which they were given, soon rid me of my pain and then strengthened and healed my back.

Also, you were both very sensitive to the emotional trauma, which accompanies such an accident and always made me feel confident that your treatments and special exercises would lead to a healthy back – which it has!

Tomorrow, I will have my last treatment and I will continue to do the exercise program, which you have outlined, for me. I have also returned to my aerobics classes three times per week.

I am writing to thank you all for the incredible life change my visits to the Bolick Clinic have provided me.

As you know I had allowed years of lower and middle back pain to go untreated. I had, in the most recent years, developed chronic neck pain and near constant headaches. I had finally arrived at the point where I was experiencing the early signs of depression attributable to fatigue. I had no energy, and the simplest of tasks, such as sweeping a room, required a rest period and brought on more back pain.

I was only moved to come to the clinic when I had developed a numbness in my forearm, and a total loss of feeling in three fingers. I had begun taking muscle relaxers and painkillers to combat the pain in my arm, the pain was relentless.

As of this writing I am about half way through my plan of treatment. I have no pain in my arm whatsoever; My fingers no longer fall asleep. My headaches are quite simply gone. And I can sweep my entire house, free of pain, in one fell swoop. More importantly, I have gone from a state of constant fatigue, to a state where I now have the energy to walk briskly on a treadmill for 45 minutes at a time, three times a week, and as a result have lost 17 pounds over the past 10 weeks. I am no longer on the verge of depression, but rather am totally energized and optimistic about a future with sustained good health.

Also, I never thought a Chiropractor would be the type of medical professional to assist with lowering my terribly high blood pressure, but that is what occurred. Instead of being prescribed a drug, I was given some very simple nutritional guidelines, which, once followed, have stabilized my blood pressure, and as an unexpected benefit, completely eradicated my acid reflux problem.

In short I was a multi-symptomatic wreck of poor health, with no energy or drive. Without the use of drugs of any kind the treatment and care I have received from the Bolick Clinic have quite literally changed my life. I feel well all over. I now enjoy a state of both physical and mental well-being that I had thought unachievable.

I will continue my corrective care phase of treatment because I never wish to find myself; again, at the place I was when I first dragged myself into the clinic. I am truly happy and pleased with my progress. I will be forever grateful.

I continued for the next five months to search for relief. In that time I saw at least five more doctors, including rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, pain management specialists, and several ER physicians, as well as trying massage therapy. Even with strong painkillers, no one was able to alleviate my discomfort for more than a day. I had all but given up hope of ever living a normal life when in May, my massage therapist suggested that I attend one of Dr. Bolick’s workshops on Fibromyalgia.

At the workshop I learned more useful information about Fibromyalgia than I’d been able to find throughout the previous year from doctors, friends, and Internet research. I had typically been forced to wait 2-3 months to get an appointment to see most of the other doctors I’d been to, but Dr. Bolick’s staff got me an appointment for the next week! I suddenly had hope! From that first appointment on, my life has changed.

Dr. Bolick evaluated my case and deve1oped a program tailored specifically to correct and maintain my health. It has been just over a month since that appointment, and my health and outlook have improved dramatically. I am able to function normally at work, I can go out on weekends with friends and I feel better about living my life with Fibromyalgia. In short, instead of living as a bed-ridden 60 year old in extremely poor health, I am able to live my life as a functionally healthy 22 year old with her Fibromyalgia under control.”
